La poste du Mali
Le service postal fut institué au Soudan Français (actuel Mali) par l’administration coloniale sous la dénomination ‘’Poste-TélégrapheTéléphone’’. Le premier bureau fut ouvert à Médine près de Kayes.
A l’indépendance en 1960, l’administration des Postes et Télécommunication fut créée au Mali par l’ordonnance n°62 PG-RM du 29 novembre 1960. Elle eut pour appellation : « Office des Postes et Télécommunications (OPT) regroupant les services postaux et financiers ainsi que les services de télécommunications.
